So, I finally brought all 3 of my 100 watt heads to a jam space so I could hear them in a larger room to see what they could do. Obviously, even in a larger room these 3 amps were capable of blowing the windows out so I still kept the volumes manageable but louder than what I could do at home. Now, I was stuck using the crappy Peavey JSX 4x12 that the jam room had and I brought along my Marshall 1965A 4x10 that I had kicking around. The Metro sounded best with the Peavey cab and all 3 amps sounded pretty good with my Marshall 4x10. Wisdom gained after doing this? I'm selling the JCM800 and probably gonna sell the Friedman BE-100 Deluxe as well. The Metropoulos just KILLS for that sound that I'm after which is vintage plexi roar.
