How To Unblock An Email Address In Gmail

In this quick tech how to video, I’m going to show you how to unblock an email address inside of Gmail.

An email could’ve been blocked by accident, or maybe you had blocked someone in the past but now want to unblock them. The easiest way to do this is through the Gmail website, mail.google.com.

Once here and signed in, select the settings gear on the top right.

Next, choose See All Settings.

Inside of here in the menu bar across the top, select Filters and Blocked Addresses. This is where you’ll see the list of blocked email addresses that you’ve added. Anyone emailing from these addresses will automatically go to your spam folder.

To unblock a sender, just hit Unblock on the right, and then again on the pop-up window to confirm. The sender will then be removed from your blocked list, and any emails from them will be delivered straight to your inbox.

And that’s how you unblock email addresses inside of Gmail.
