I'm back to Hercules speedruns since new competition arrived.
I lost both Any% Herculean et All Letters Medium WRs and I want them back.
I almost lost Any% Beginner WR too, my previous PB is only 2 seconds ahead of 2nd place.

So I decided to improve Any% Beginner first in order to secure my WR in this category and to derust from the beginning of the game up to Cyclops.

About this run:

My goal was a new PB, then sub 22:25 with loads or sub 22:20 without loads, and ultimately sub 22:20 with loads.
Here I got 22:23 with loads, so not quite optimal yet. I was comparing the splits to an artificial PB (better than my previous 22:31 but with worse RNG) to stay motivated.

The improvements:
- Better overall movement since I'm using a controller instead of keyboard. The analog stick is a pain though. I still use the keyboard in Level 2 and Cyclops because I hate analog stick in those levels.
- 2 new strats in Level 1 that allow me to save 2.5 seconds. Special thanks to turbomummo and AlluM3tt3 for having told me those strats: Using normal sword to shred the 2 circles of bags, and using the Lightning sword to break the 3 pillars.
- Safer Level 2, clean most of the time now.
- Better understanding of how blue birds move in Level 1 and 3.

My time losses are:
- 1.5 seconds in Level 1 because of sloppiness at the beginning and I missed the 2nd Lightning sword that would be used to break the 3rd pillar faster.
- 2 seconds in Level 3 from bad movements (mostly bad use of the helmet).
- 5 seconds in Level 4, I needed 8 Jump+Down to kill the Minotaur while it can be done in 7. I didn't get a perfect bird glitch and a cat stopped me near the end.
- 1 second in Cyclops, I forgot to move to the right side in order to avoid the incoming chariot.

To sum up, nearly 10 seconds is left to be cut. Realistically, another 5 seconds is very possible, I'll give it a few more attempts.
