This video presents a recommended practice for the definition of an FE model of a welded structure, common in Heavy Industry.
The demonstrated procedures are:
- the automatic middle skin extraction,
- the automatic parts’ connection to perform pasted nodes welds,
- the local refinement at weld line areas and the automatic shell and solid meshing of the assembly among others.
