For a family, nothing is more important than keeping their loving children safe. However, it is no secret that the world is a wicked place where loss can strike at any moment.

We must always be vigilant in order to keep our loved ones safe, especially our children. While there are many stories that had a happy ending where the lost ended up being found. Today, we are going to take a look at a few accounts where children have mysteriously gone missing, not to be found.

May 19th, 1971 marked the day that the world last saw Cheryl Miller and Pamela Jackson. The two girls were making their way to a party when they mysteriously disappeared.

A case was opened 40 years ago by the police, but not a single solid lead was found for a long time. At least, until 2013 when the police managed to solve the case.

Cheryl Miller and Pamela Jackson have been looking forward to the end of the school year. The two girls weren't the kind to drink or use drugs, and they usually didn't attend parties on the weekends either. However, on the night of the end of the school year, they heard of a party that was happening at a local quarry, and they decided that it would be fun to attend.
