Cleveland weather: Warm temps Wednesday but strong to severe storms also expected

Описание к видео Cleveland weather: Warm temps Wednesday but strong to severe storms also expected

Cleveland weather forecast for Tuesday, April 4, 2023.

Tonight's forecast...easy! Tomorrow's forecast...ACTIVE.

Temperatures are going to get warm and get warm fast as a warm front lifts across the Buckeye state. For reference, St. Louis, MO was in the 80s today...we transport similar warm eastward tomorrow. While some southern communities could break into the 80s, 70s is an easy do for us.

The warmth will be carried by already gusty winds...tomorrow will be windy...but there will be time to still get out and enjoy it.

While there will likely be a few morning showers, tomorrow afternoon is where wave one begins. We will likely have pop-up showers and storms. These will have all the ingredients necessary to become strong to severe. The timing as the first burst of showers and storms come through will likely be 1-5PM.

Our next round, come just ahead of a strong cold front. We will have heat, moisture, and a lifting mechanism...we need them all to have strong storms form. The thing that could lessen the strength would be more cold cover and overall timing of showers and thunderstorms. We could likely have a break of additional short-lived sunshine before the cold front activity pushes in which again would be extra fuel.

What threats can you expect? Well all concerns are on the table. Stay weather aware and have a way to receive alerts.

Past tomorrow, we clear out. We have a stunning weekend ahead. Start planning now.

Here is your 3-day Cleveland weather forecast.

TONIGHT | Clouds build. Cooler lakeside. 50s/60s.

WEDNESDAY | 2 rounds of storms develop. Windy. VERY warm. Near 80.

THURSDAY | Becoming sunny. 50s.
