I am customizing a basic sulphur reactor, adding Alfagrog to support anaerobic bacterial growth and also adding a section to test out Brightwell Aquatics Xport-Po4 Cubes to remove phosphates. This is for a freshwater, tropical cichlid tank as growing plants with these to remove the nitrates and phosphates is tricky. High Nitrates and Phosphates in your aquarium lead to lots of algae and potentially sick fish so, if you want to be able to feed your fish well and keep them growing and healthy, this is a simple filter add on that once you get working you can more or less just leave it and get on with enjoying your fish!
