If you've gone this far... you might also drive out the brass bushings in the motor case, and put in ball bearings if you have access to them.

The vibration concern may not be noticed when inside the vehicle .
You would have noticed this vibration when holding the motor in you hand. Your hand has more nerve endings focused on a single point then anywhere else in the body.

These vibrations will cause faster wear in the motor bushings and gears.

I would only recommend this modification as a last resort to increased speed, where it might have lacked or you have no other options for modifications.
