After a short post Gamescom 2025 break, I’ve spent the last three days diving into something new and super exciting, and I could not wait to share it with you!

My first approach to cutscenes was a few years ago with Reminiscence, a narrative pixel art project developed in Unity.

Now I am tackling a completely different challenge, and thanks to the support of my teammates, I have already reached a result I am proud of, even though I know the real work is still ahead.

As a Game Designer, I always focus on the creative side, and collaborating closely with 3D Artists, Sound Designers, and fellow Game Designers to bring the intro of The Negative Edge to life has been extremely motivating.

These days I’ve been exploring materials, composition, Unreal Engine’s Sequencer, and post-process effects moving from the very first moodboard, to the initial blockout, and up to the current result.

I’m excited to share this journey today with a small recap of the work done so far, and I can’t wait to show you the full cutscene soon!
