The flight attendant, Lynda, sang to us as an apology for what was going on. As we started our approach, the plane made a steep bank to the right and the captain announced the airport was closed due to a disabled aircraft and that we would be landing in Orlando instead. As we began our new flight to Orlando, the Tampa airport reopened and we were redirected back to Tampa. This explains the flight attendants joke at the end of her song.
