E129 - Uncovering Nature's Best-Kept Secret: Ketchem Bay, Tasmania!

Описание к видео E129 - Uncovering Nature's Best-Kept Secret: Ketchem Bay, Tasmania!

Leaving Louisa Island we quickly explore New Harbour before exploring Ketchem Bay, where we had been told of a very secluded hidden anchorage. Launching the drone reveals this spectacular this anchorage. After a quick snorkel, we round South West Cape and put the fishing rod out after seeing many schools of tuna. With a few hook-ups and bust offs from big fish, we land an incredible bright blue Tasman Mako shark. We end the day pulling into Bramble Cove at the entrance to Bathurst Harbour.

WHO ARE WE?
We’re Chris and Jo and we have been living on our Seawind 1260 since January 2019. In our first year we bring our yacht down the east coast of Australia and sail it out to New Caledonia. After cruising further north up the east coast of Australia in 2020, we decide to circumnavigate Australia during 2021 and 2022.
We had previously owned fishing and water skiing boats, but after a couple years crewing in South Australia we decided to jump right in and make a sea change.
We are just an ordinary Aussie couple exploring what this great world has to offer and hope that we can inspire others just as we were by watching other YouTube channels to follow our dreams.
