Self-Insured Reporting is a company that streamlines the operations of self-insured employer health plans.

There are a lot of different people involved in managing a self-insured benefit plan, the first of which is a Third Party Administrator or TPAs. Benefit consultants provide client advice and often recommend population health companies to focus on disease management. Sometimes we use direct primary care vendors. Reinsurance carriers, MGU’s and captives are used to transfer risk, and sometimes reinsurance general agents (GA’s) are involved.

A client is going to ask how are we doing versus our budget, what is our aggregate loss ratio, and how will we end the year and what will our renewal be. You can’t answer those questions with only claims.
This is why we integrate the reinsurance contract, plan years, all fixed costs, plan enrollments and employee contributions. We are the only in the marketplace who does this. And from there, how you use the platform really depends upon what role you play.
