Ujjain Vlog 02 काल भैरव मंदिर - गढ़कालिका - मंगलनाथ - सांदीपनि आश्रम - सिद्धवट - कालियादेह - भर्तृहरि

This is part 02 of my Ujjain Darshan Vlog Series in which I started my exploration with Sandipani ashram, one of major religious and tourist attractions of this holy city. It is situated on Mangalnath Road. Here I visited school of Lord Krishna where he got lessons from Rishi Sandipani ji along with his elder brother Balram and fast friend Sudama. I also visited ancient Kundeshwar Mahadev temple and other attractions of this ashram.

Then I reached another prominent holy place of Ujjain city known as Mangalnath Temple which is said to be birth place of Mangal Dev (Mars Planet). Here people come to perform Mangal Dosh Nivaran pooja to cool down mangal dosh of horoscope.

After doing darshan of Mangalnath temple I reached at Kaliyadeh Palace, an ancient palace of 15th century. Here I did darshan at Surya temple and then had a look at Bawan Kund (Surya Kund) which is very close to Kaliyadeh palace.

Then I reached at Siddhvat Temple and after exploring each and every part of it I reached at famous Kal Bhairav temple. Here I had to wait for more than one and half hour in the queue to do darshan of Shri Kal Bhairav ji. After Kalbhairav temple I reached at Gadh Kalika temple where great poet and writer Kalidas got wisdom from goddess Kali.

From here I reached at Bharthari caves, my final destination of the day. There were two caves and a temple. There Yogiraj Bhrathhari did penance for 12 years. My second day in Ujjain ended like this but Ujjain Darshan Yatra is still on. Jai Mahakal.
