Welcome to The Velvet Burlesque™ Dance Classes, led by Lara Gothique, a multi-award-winning choreographer, teacher, and performer with over 35 years’ experience (est. 1991).

These weekly classes explore burlesque, cabaret, heels, and showgirl-style dance in a supportive, confidence-boosting environment. You’ll learn choreography, technique, musicality, and performance skills - whether you’re brand new to dance, or returning with experience.

January 2026 class start dates:
– Monday 12th January - Beginners & newcomers welcome
– Thursday 15th January - Beginners & newcomers welcome
– Friday 16th January - Intermediate / Advanced

📍 Location: Chapeltown Community Centre, Sheffield (S35 1TH) - free parking available
