I'm in the Master of Urban Planning program at USC, and I just finished my first semester.
This video on the pedway was a project for a planning "History and Theory" course. The goal is to be a public history document and to create an accessible, critical narrative of the pedway system's planning, focusing on how the top-down vision has impacted community life. This is all built on the inherent conflict between the City Practical/Functional planning vision and its negative City Social outcomes.
