Super Mario 64 - Forsaken Factory (Personalized)

Описание к видео Super Mario 64 - Forsaken Factory (Personalized)

Forsaken Factory is a stage found within a mysterious version of Super Mario 64.

Description:

The stage depicts a large, abandnoned factory over-run with foliage. The walls are mostly made up of red bricks and rusty metal, with large, cracked windows looking out onto a lucious jungle. Vines can be seen creeping along several areas of the factory's surfaces. Some walls are missing entirely, others having large open gaps.

The platforming inside is very difficult, most often compared to "Tick, Tock Clock" from the original game, although most reports describe it as being harder.

Inside are several conveyor belts, some jittering back and forth instead of continuing in a straight line. Large cogs rotate sporadically, platforms peeking in and out of walls in a similar manner. Beneath all of this is what apears to be a large pit stretching down far enough that Mario can't see the bottom.

Forsaken Factory is divided up into a few different areas, seperated by large brick walls. There is little to solid ground to stand on in-between. The most notable of the areas is the climbing section where mario must scale a tall room to collect a star at the top. If mario looks out through a hole in the wall behind the star, the clock tower can be spotted.

A new version of the Tox Box enemy can be found, now appearing rusty and overgrown with vines. Instead of having a consistent pattern, they'll randomly pause and speed up, creating a more difficult challenge.

Enemies:

Most enemies in the stage aren't organic, like Bob-Ombs and Chuckyas. Goombas are present, in a new metallic form. They require two or three hits to kill depending on the color, silver being two hits and gold being three.

The only enemy that isn't a machine/robot is the scuttlebug, which can be found crawling along the floors and walls.

Location:

Forsaken Factory can be found in the "Castle Control Room," a sub-area featuring machines and decorative tools. The painting of FF can be found in an overgrown room behind a breakable box.

The painting itself shows an overgrown Tox Box on a converyor belt in front of a brick wall with the blue sky above.

Stars:

These are the stars found/documented so far:

* Lights Out in the Factory

Mario can only get the first star upon entering the stage for the first time. Every other area holding a star is blocked off by electrical walls and platforms that hurt Mario on contact. Mario can solve this problem by deactivating a breaker switch, located in it's own isolated area.

The star is located inside a glass tube glowing brightly, and after deactivating the switch, the star breaks out from the glass container and the stage is free to explore.

* Secrets on Uncertain Platforms

Mario must navigate platforms suspended over a pit for five secrets. The platforms cycle between two states, Electrical and Normal, forcing Mario to find the right pattern to jump across them safely.

* Ascending The Factory

Mario must platform up across a variety of obstacles and challenges in the previously mentioned taller area, to reach a star at the top.

* Daunting Dash to the Secret Stash

When Mario spawns into the level, a crack in the wall can be found behind him. If the wall is broken, either by punching or kicking, a star is revealed behind a metal grate. In order to acess it, mario must locate a vanish cap box further in the stage and sprint back to the start with it.

* Shocks for a Tox Box

Mario must break open a Tox Box moving quickly and sporadically along a conveyor belt. Inside the Tox Box is a star Mario cannot reach in it's current state.

Wires can be seen connected to the conveyor belt, all leading to buttons hidden across the stage that mario must press to send electricity back, in turn breaking the Tox Box and revealing the star.

(Pelle here! I'm nervous about this one, it took a lot of time and I hope I didn't mess it up too bad haha. I know it's probably not similar to Mario 64, but as I said in the video itself, hope you enjoy anyway. I'm gonna try to find a good balance of music I wanna make, and music that sounds faithful to the OG game. Maybe i'll change the songs up if they ever appear in an ARG style video. Thanks for watching!)
