Don Mock Double-Neck Synth Guitar

Описание к видео Don Mock Double-Neck Synth Guitar

Don Mock talks about his double-neck guitar synth for the new owner who takes possession of the unique instrument in Dec 2015. The one-of-a-kind guitar was built by Lane Moller in 1979-80 and includes wired frets and strings on the upper neck fingerboard. The electronics came from an Ampeg Patch 2000. Mock used a left-hand tapping technique and operated a pitch-bend lever with his right hand. The lower neck was a regular electric guitar and had a Roland pickup added in the mid 1980's making the guitar a double synthesizer rig. Video includes footage from an early '80's concert at GIT.
