Data science is not going away. People are willing to alter their major in order to seek a job in data science. And when it comes to getting a career in Data Science, the first option is always one of the FAANG or MAANG companies.

Although data science has been around for a while, it gained popularity when organisations couldn't deal with the massive amounts of data on their own and required someone to help them make sense of it.

With a similar goal to pursue a career in data science, Abhishek Vijayvargia likewise encountered a fair bit of obstacles on the path to joining Microsoft as a Data Scientist.

What is Data Science?

Data Science is a mix of different tools, algorithms, and machine learning principles to discover hidden patterns in raw data. It still continues to evolve as a promising career path for various professionals. Data Scientists are able to identify relevant questions and collect data from various data sources, segregate the information and ultimately communicate the findings in a way that boosts businesses. A career in data science is both lucrative and rewarding.
