ESP32 Tiny Basic PC as Standalone Microcontroller

Описание к видео ESP32 Tiny Basic PC as Standalone Microcontroller

This is the latest version of ESP32 Tiny Basic Plus PC: a simple, small and unexpansive retro style PC, running an extended version of Tiny Basic Plus, with many new features. Some of them are: graphical capabilities; uses of floating numbers; possibility to drive the inputs/output on five pins, either with digital and analogue signals; possibility to save data on a micro-SD card; sound output; timing functions; many mathematical functions; possibility to use arrays variables; automatic start of a program when this PC is switched ON. Some of the main features are shown in this video as example programs and clone games, such as Pong, Arkanoid, Snake and Etch-a-Sketch.
This breadboard is in practice a "stand alone" microcontroller that does not need an external computer to be programmed: the code can be written directly "on the fly" in BASIC, and the programs can be saved and loaded on a micro-SD card. The program "autorun.bas" is executed automatically at the start, if present.
An old version is presented in the Instructable https://www.instructables.com/ESP32-P...
I wish to express my gratitude to Fabrizio Di Vittorio for his awesome ESP32 VGA library. For more details, see here: http://www.fabglib.org/
Many thanks also to Fernando Garcia for introducing the graphics in the previous version of Tiny Basic Plus.
