The Rock-afire Explosion (Corporate Voiced) - Working / Summertime (June 1987)

Описание к видео The Rock-afire Explosion (Corporate Voiced) - Working / Summertime (June 1987)

Showtape Title: SPP Working - Summertime
Release Date: June 1987

Released in June, this show was all about saluting America's hard workers. The band sing various well known songs themed around working, such as Dolly Parton's "9 To 5" The Beatles' "Hard Days Night" and Huey Lewis' "Working for a Living". As per usual for showtapes produced at the time, this show uses voice impersonators that were hired by ShowBiz, and the script was recycled from Chuck E. Cheese's version of the same show. The two summertime segments from the previous reel are reused on this tape. Notably, this was the very last show produced by corporate ShowBiz with the voice impersonators. Begining with "Rock & Roll Classics" Creative Engineering would get the rights to produce Rock-afire shows for ShowBiz back to them, although they were only able to write the scripts and record the audio. Because of the Liberty party, and SPT no longer trusting CEI with show material, ShowBiz would maintain the rights to program shows, and would continue to right up until Concept Unification in the early 90s. This show was the counterpart to CEC Working / Summertime.
