A recording of the 2021 annual training on UC policies and state safety regulations for the use of pesticides for research uses. UC policies allow experimental pesticide researchers to be exempt from obtaining an experimental use permit in most cases, but some requirements still need to be followed. There are also some requirements specific to California and to the UC system.

The Office of Pesticide Information and Coordination (OPIC) gives this webinar each year so that UC experimental pesticide researchers can be aware of their rights and responsibilities. More information can be found at ucanr.edu/sites/OPIC.
