Part 3 of 4: It's all about COMFORT!!! Choose an in-pool lounger that you and your guest will be comfortable in. Life is too short to sit on uncomfortable pool loungers.

We are in a vinyl liner pool with a 5" water depth.

We are comparing:
Tenjam Shayz Lounger with no risers (5" maximum depth)
Tenjam Shayz Lounger with 4" risers (9" maximum depth)
Ledge Lounger Signature Chaise (9" maximum depth)
Step2 Vero Lounger (9" maximum depth). Note: the manufacturer website states the Vero Lounger is not safe for vinyl liner pools or saltwater pools.

Results:
Tenjam Shayz is the most comfortable lounger and adding the 4" riser raises the seat and makes this lounger even easier to enter and exit the seat. This lounger fully supports your entire body and the armrests are a major bonus.
Tenjam Shayz with no risers offers the great comfort of the Shayz Lounger, but the lower seat height does make it a little tougher to get into and out of the seat. The armrests really help by giving a place to hold while entering and exiting the seat.
Ledge Lounger Signature Chaise and Step2 both have a hump under your legs that is uncomfortable. Ledge Lounger leans way back and we find it uncomfortable. The seat is very flat and your buttocks will slide forward and backward on this flat and long seat.
Step2 is a 2-piece design and the gap between the two pieces is positioned right under your buttocks and is really uncomfortable. The headrest looks tall when the loungers are placed side-by-side, but the backrest just isn't high enough and catches us right in the middle of our head. If comfort is your thing you should steer clear of this product. If spending less for lower quality is your thing then you may overlook the comfort and go with Step2.
