For many years these New Haven boxcars have been sitting in a lot in Boston awaiting their fate. I believe they were used for storage for some time but it seems like their time may be up with the construction of a planned railyard on the site they sit upon. Who knows what will happen next but it is great to even be able to see these once common boxcars like these still in Boston, for now.
