**WARNING** I am less entirely certain about my findings than I appear to be in this video, some of the assumptions are tentative. Definites are: Kunemersdone is Kilmersdon, Ekwall’s backs this up and other academics agree; there is a Wolfbury in the charters of Mells and Buckland so it must have been on the border between the two parishes so somewhere on or near Buckland Down. The Murtry and Murstanwere correlation is more tentative but i have never come across the element Mur before so it may well be true that they are related in some sense.

I walk for my health and for pleasure, the pleasure of walking ancient boundaries adds a layer of meaning to the landscape which is satisfying. These ancient boundaries are mostly in Old English (the Anglo-Saxon language of a 1000 years ago) but I am also interested in Middle English Forest perambulations, enclosure records and tithe maps.

This video has wild animals in it: hares, I think a buzzard, etc. Also less wild are the two co-grooming horses.

It also includes information on Bronze Age and Neolithic barrows.
