Why is it that turning out corners with a pin always leads to ripped fibres, messed-up fabric, and having to resew the whole thing?!

I learned this crisp corner hack a few years ago, and I couldn’t keep it to myself any longer.

Using @guetermann_creativ_au thread, insert a length of it between your layers of fabric in the stitch line before pivoting. By placing your Gütermann thread in the stitch line, you can bring the corner to a perfect point by gently pulling on the thread once you’ve turned it right side out.

The stretch and strength of the thread is key, there’s nothing more frustrating than sewing your corner and then snapping your thread mid-pull... don’t ask me how I know 😅

By using a durable thread like Gütermann, your corners will “turn out” point-perfect every time!
