2024 SCCA June Sprints Race Video - Spun at the Start!

One of the biggest races of the year and possibly one of the biggest regular-season races ever, the June Sprints is a great measuring stick to see how the @SCCAOfficial Runoffs will unfold, with a good majority of the class participating here at @Road_America.
Saturday was a rain race, during which I learned how to drive the Mazda2 in the wet. It was my first rain race, and I realized the car was great. It all came together just as I had hoped.
Sunday was a dry race and the first dry session of the weekend. I had the start of my life and put my head down to stay in the lead of my race group intermixed into the whole race group. Everything was better than I could hope for until the braking zone for Turn 3, where I found myself looking at the oncoming traffic for a split second, but thanks to the wet grass, I was back in the proper racing direction and did not lose much time, so off I went and had some pretty clean laps and excellent cooperation with the others, both that I was passing and the other classed cars that were passing me.
