Had the pleasure of getting to play one of these beasts finally. What a wild fuzz! Not sure if I have a permanent space for it on my board, so I thought I'd do a quick review while it is still in my hands! The Unpleasant Surprise fits its namesake: there are lots of surprise sounds hidden in this little box of noise. Although many sounds are harsh, I'd still say were they pleasant! I start by going through a bunch of settings on the pedal with my dry bass, using a pick, and the Boss OC-2 (for some synth action). Then at the end of the video I have some fun pairing it with some other effects to really get crazy!
