Saved my furniture
Had a new rescue cat that was very well behaved in all areas, except wanted to scratch on chairs and couches. I had success with a similar product many years ago with another cat so gave this a try. It worked like a charm. Placed it where she scratched most, and she never tried more than once. I then just had to keep an eye on her so I could place it anywhere she tried to scratch other than her scratching posts. I left it up for a month or more, and sometimes had to keep adding to an area as she kept trying a new spot, but after a few months the problem was solved. This product lasted quite a while and by the time it started coming off, she had figured out that wasn't the place to scratch. After a year with us, she decided to try scratching a new chair, so up with the tape and she understood right away that wasn't allowed. Smart kitty and good product to help her learn.
