Memories Jibacoa Review

Beth and I stayed at Memories Jibacoa for a week in 2023 and also passed through for one night during one of our Cuba Bike Tours with Bicycle Breeze Tours. The hotel is on a quiet bay between Havana and Varadero.

The hotel is very popular and has a lot of Europeans compared to the big resort areas like Varadero, Holguin, and the Cayos. We enjoyed the mix of patrons.

Overall Impressions:
above-average food quality and selection for the price point
not a mega-resort so you won't get lost or have to walk a long way to get around
good beach with white sand and some coral to see by snorkeling from the beach
location is between Matanzas and Havana so within 60 km either east or west you can explore Cuban city life
overall well maintained and managed
some nice walks to keep you occupied (some video included on this)
we liked the small sports bar for a game of pool. They have drinks and snacks and it's never crowded
