24th Street Train Arriving at Powell Street BART (HD)

9-car 24th Street train making a rare appearance during the evening rush at Powell Street Station in Downtown San Francisco.

The 24th Street train is BART's evening commute express that runs twice exclusively on the Pittsburg/Bay Point-SFO line during the 5-6pm hour, but does not serve San Francisco Int'l Airport.

Both trains actually begin the evening commute during the 4pm hour as San Francisco/Concord trains at Daly City Station, then later terminate at Concord Station in the East Bay. Upon arrival in Concord, these two become San Francisco/24th Street trains, which will terminate at 24th Street Mission Station in San Francisco. The two trains then proceed to turn back at that station as Pittsburg/Bay Point trains ready for the return trip to the East Bay.
