Backpacking Cook Set | Meal Ideas on the Trail

Описание к видео Backpacking Cook Set | Meal Ideas on the Trail

Can't carry an oven into the back country? No worries, allow me to help! In this video I share with you my backpacking cook system. I review each piece of kit that comes with me as well as how to employ it.

I have a lot of expensive backpacking gear, but this cooking system is very affordable! You can buy most of it on Amazon and at very reasonable prices. The best part is this gear isn't "cheap" it is "budget friendly" because it actually works!

My stove is an AOTU brand stove that you can find on Amazon for under $20. I also purchase my gas canisters on Amazon as well. Alternatively, you can find the canisters at basically any outdoors store or even Walmart. Sometimes finding a level spot to set up your stove is challenging, so I use the MSR canister stand to keep things well balanced.

My cooking pot and coffee cup are titanium and made by Toaks. I personally use the 1.1L cooking pot and the 450mL cup on my adventures. One could argue whether or not titanium is the best material to cook on, but I bring them because of their extremely light weight.

In the video I also go over a couple of "meal ideas". Generally I just experiment with things and see what is edible. In my videos you'll end up seeing many mash ups of instant potatoes, rice, ramen and chicken/pork packets etc. Don't know until you try it! As always, thank you so much for watching my videos and if you enjoy the content please subscribe!
