This is a video series that had done by us for the renewal of visit visa of our daughter. Already we had done once this trip and this time we again travelled for the extension of visa. Last time we explore Tabuk and this time we are exploring in Al Haql and Al Ula region. The trip lasts for al.ost 2300 Kms above and hope all will enjoy it. Al Haql or Haqal (حَقَل) is a city in the northwest of Saudi Arabia near the head of the Gulf of Aqaba, adjacent to Aqaba across the Jordanian border. The coasts of Egypt and Jordan can be seen from Haql.

Haql is a small city and it is not a port used for Red Sea shipping, and the relatively small Saudi population does not engage in water desalination. As a result, the reefs in this area are pristine and populated with diverse flora and fauna. The coasts of the Red Sea and Gulf of Aqaba in this region are scenic. There are views of the mountains of the Sinai peninsula across the Gulf of Aqaba. Shipping is limited to traffic to and from the Port of Aqaba, Jordan. It lies 5 km (3.1 mi) from the Jordanian border. It has become one of the most attractive cities to visit for diving sport and accommodation. The two most attractive factors are its climate and geographical location. The  saudi commission for Tourism and antiquities (SCTA) has added more than 4 attractive spots on Haql.


Al Ula(ٱلْعُلَا al-ʿulā), is a city of the Medina region in north-western Saudi Arabia. Historically located on the incense route, the city lies within the Governorate of 'Ula (مُحَافَظَة ٱلْعُلَا,Muḥāfathat Al-ʿUlā), one of seven in the Medina Region, covering an area of 29,261 square kilometres (11,298 sq mi). The city is 110 km (68 mi) southwest of Tayma and 300 km (190 mi) north of Medina. The city (municipality) covers 2,391 square kilometres (923 sq mi).

Al-'Ula was the capital of the ancient Lihyanites (Dedanites). The governorate contains the first UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Saudi Kingdom, called Hegra  (also known as Al-Hijr, or Mada'in Saleh / Mada'in Salih), 22 km (14 mi) north of the city. Hegra (Mada'in Salih) was built more than 2,000 years ago by the Nabataeans. Al-'Ula, the ancient walled city, is packed with mud-brick and stone houses.
