‘Barbie’ breaks Warner Bros. ‘Dark Knight’ box office record

“Barbie” is officially the highest-grossing domestic release ever from Warner Bros., topping the studios’ previous record-holder “The Dark Knight” from 2008. The film’s global success has also made it the highest-grossing film of all-time from a solo female director.
