Late Summer Sights and Sounds Buena Vista Park 27 Aug

On a recent visit to Buena Vista Park in Vista, CA, there were quite a few Common Gallinules in with the hoards of Mallards. The small reservoir The birds featured in this video are the Common Gallinule and Black-crowned Night-Heron. Night-Herons are generally not very vocal, but often will vocalize in flight.
