A Special Highlight from my Final Fantasy V LiveStream! Here I show off how you can LEARN a BLUE MAGIC you NORMALLY would NOT KNOW you CAN LEARN EARLIER than when your REALLY SUPPOSED TO! A LOT of people OVERLOOK this, and it IS a NICE TIP! The ENEMY "MottleTrap" uses this, but he does NOT use it under NORMAL CONDITIONS! You can find him in the Fire-Powered Ship.

Learning BLUE MAGIC "Exploder" From MottleTraps And EARLY As Follows
1. You MUST HAVE SOMEONE with the "Black Mage" Job(Or have someone with the "!Black" Ability at Level 1 MINIMUM) and you MUST HAVE the "Bolt" Spell. If you don't you can BUY it in Karnak right there. Like with ALL OTHER BLUE MAGICS, you MUST HAVE A BLUE MAGE OR(If working on ANOTHER JOB for that character, have "Learning" EQUIPPED!
2. MottleTraps will not SHOW UP on their OWN, in fact there IS NO RANDOM ENCOUNTER with them. You MUST FIRST FIND a group of enemies and ONE of those enemies MUST BE a "Defeater".
3. LEAVE the "Defeater" ALONE, and kill ANY OTHER ENEMIES in the Group FIRST. There is ALSO a BATTLE with a LONE "Defeater" by itself. KILL the "Defeater" LAST, AFTER you have KILLED the OTHER ENEMIES!
4. 2 MottleTraps will appear. They ALWAYS APPEAR after you have KILLED the "Defeater" LAST, but ONLY if you do that.
5. Cast Black Magic "Bolt" on the MottleTrap! It'll then COUNTER WITH "Exploder" on a character(UNLESS you ONE-SHOT it with that Bolt spell like I did with "Reina" earlier XD). HOPE that it hits the BLUE MAGE or whoever has "Learning"! That's why I didn't Learn it, Reina was a "Summoner" and did not have "Learning". HOWEVER, I wasn't planning LEARNING it from the MottleTraps ANYWAY, I wanted to wait to learn it from ANOTHER enemy, where we're SUPPOSED TO Learn it from more commonly. -- Watch live at   / alanp36
