Richard Shireby, G0OJF, discusses transmit alignment of the c2002 Cobra UK29LTD ST CB radio. This is an FM 80 channel UK use only set offering both the 40 unique UK FM channels & the 40 EU channels as well. In this video the centre frequency chosen for tuning was UK 20 (27.79125) as there is no interest in the EU set of channels at this end. Otherwise the set would have been tuned on UK channel 1 (27.60125) being the centre of the radios 80 available channels. At least this one managed 4W. I can't say the build quality impresses though.. Radio has built-in SWR meter. Dimmer actually dims both the display & meter lamp for a change.
