Normally, I don't do videos of drinking fountains, but this one seemed to have a sensor glitch on the filler which made it worth filming. This unit in Building L of Harper College is an Elkay ezH2O LZWSR 1A. Around 2014, buildings have been upgrading their drinking fountains by either adding on ezH2O water fillers on Elkay units or completely replacing old or broken units with Elkay. This was done to prevent people from having to tilt their bottle in order to refill it and offer cleaner, healthier water.

Basically what you would do is place your bottle on the base of the fountain. This will cause the sensor to detect the bottle and dispense water straight down from a bubbler located on the plastic surface above. Then when you remove the bottle away from the sensor, it will stop the flow of water. Although in this scenario, it didn't seem to do that. When I filled my water bottle off-camera and then took it off the fountain, the sensor seemed to keep going thinking my water bottle was still there. Then after about 30 seconds, the water stopped flowing and it finally realized that there's nothing there. Same thing happened when I put my finger on the sensor. I hope this fountain gets fixed at some point. Otherwise, it's just gonna waste an unnecessary amount of water after someone's done using it.
