Customer Wanted Their Bottle Brush Tree Shaped – Here's What Happened

In this job, I was asked to reshape a Bottle Brush tree (Callistemon) that the customer thought had gotten too tall and "ugly." I usually prefer to leave these trees looking natural, as they're not really meant to be trimmed like a hedge.

But after chatting with the customer about the shape they had in mind, I got stuck in—reducing the height and cleaning up underneath to give it the look they wanted.

It’s not the way I’d normally do it, but at the end of the day, the customer was happy—and that’s the main thing!
