All India DAD Volleyball Tournament – 2025 Concludes Successfully at Bangalore

The All India Defence Accounts Department (DAD) Volleyball Tournament – 2025 concluded successfully at Bangalore with the conduct of the Men’s and Women’s final matches at the Dravid Padukone Centre for Sports Excellence. The tournament was organised under the aegis of the Defence Accounts Sports Control Board (DASCB) and hosted by PCDA, Bangalore.


The Men’s Final witnessed a high-quality and competitive contest. PCDA (Army), Chandigarh emerged as the Champions, demonstrating excellent teamwork, consistency, and superior play. PCDA (Army), Jaipur finished as the Runner-up after putting up a strong and spirited performance.


The Women’s Final was equally engaging and showcased commendable skill and coordination. PCDA (Officers), Pune clinched the Championship title with a confident and well-strategized performance, while CGDA (Headquarters), Delhi secured the Runner-up position following a determined effort.


The Closing Ceremony of the tournament was held at the Chopra Auditorium, ASC Centre, Bangalore. Shri K. V. R. Murthi, Additional Controller General of Defence Accounts, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Maj Gen VT Mathew, AVSM, YSM, GOC, K&K Sub Area graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The ceremony was attended by senior IDAS officers posted at the station.


A cultural programme presented by local artists added colour and vibrancy to the evening. The Chief Guest distributed trophies and prizes to the winning and runner-up teams of both the Men’s and Women’s categories and appreciated the efforts of the organisers and participants in making the tournament a grand success.


The tournament reinforced the spirit of sportsmanship, camaraderie, and physical fitness among the officers and staff of the Defence Accounts Department.
