Julia Margaret Cameron: Close Up

Описание к видео Julia Margaret Cameron: Close Up

Julia Margaret Cameron was arguably the most important woman in the history of photography. Her pioneering close up images and distinctive style propelled photography into fine art, not bad for a woman who took up photography at the age of 48 and used a converted hen house as a studio. This short film, produced for Dimbola Museum and Galleries, examines Cameron's extraordinary close up portraits; images that were selected by her son, Henry Herschel Hay Cameron, for an album, Tennyson and his Friends, he published in 1893.
