A teacher at Mt. Carmel High School has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a teenager for two years.

Stacy Michelle Walker, 39, was arrested on Wednesday and is accused of engaging a then 15-year-old victim in a sexual relationship that included photos, videos and various sex acts from 2017 to 2019, according to the San Diego Police Department.

Walker, a teacher in the Poway Unified School District, was taken into custody by detectives and booked into Las Colinas County Jail on Wednesday.

Walker allegedly started the relationship by engaging the 15-year-old victim in sexual conversations. According to police, Walker and the victim began exchanging sexually explicit photographs, videos and text messages.
