A LOVE ONCE VIBRANT, NOW A FADING TONE,
OUR PATHS DIVERGED, OUR HEARTS TURNED TO STONE,
A SAD LOVE STORY, IN WHISPERS, I BEMOAN.

PROMISES MADE, LIKE FRAGILE GLASS, THEY BREAK,
OUR LOVE'S FOUNDATION, NOW A TREMBLING ACHE,
IN THE DEPTHS OF DESPAIR, MY HEART DOES ACHE,
FOR THE LOVE WE LOST, FOR OUR OWN SAKE.

THE ECHOES OF YOUR LAUGHTER STILL RESOUND,
BUT YOU'RE NOT HERE; AN EMPTY SPACE IS FOUND,
IN THE RUINS OF A LOVE THAT WAS ONCE PROFOUND,
I SEARCH FOR SOLACE, BUT IT CAN'T BE FOUND.

THE TEARS I SHED, LIKE RAINDROPS SOFTLY FALL,
A SYMPHONY OF SORROW, A MOURNFUL CALL,
IN THE GALLERY OF MEMORIES, I RECALL,
THE MOMENTS WE CHERISHED, THE SWEETEST OF ALL.

YET, THOUGH WE'RE APART, AND OUR LOVE HAS DIED,
IN MY HEART'S SECRET CHAMBERS, YOU RESIDE,
A LOVE SO DEEP, IT CANNOT BE DENIED,
IN THIS SAD LOVE POEM, OUR LOVE'S TEARS ARE CRIED.
