With Chapter 1 finished we can move on to the next area beyond the Server Desert. First, we'll pass by Etemon who'll ask for a battery, which you can find at Power Plant#2, and in return he'll join the city. Head to the Stepstep in Server Desert where you'll find GrapLeomon waiting at the end. He'll send you to Gargomon to get an item. At Tower Road you'll find Gargomon who'll join the city after giving you the item GrapLeomon needs. Give it to GrapLeomon and he'll break the barrier that's blocking the entrance to the Ohguino Wastelands. He'll give you a quest to help Leomon in the next area and then joins the city. Agumon is the first digimon you'll encounter there and it's clear i'm underpowered for this area. You should probably wait to go to Leoman as you see I'll barely make it through the forced encounter with Woodmon and Veggiemon. At this point, it's basically just waiting till both my digimon die since there's no efficient way to increase my stats. If you're in the same situation, make use of this time to gather resources, money, and tamer exp. Fighting the Geremon at the oasis nets you 200 bits per battle, while the stronger ones in the destroyed village only give 100 bits. The Fugamon just outside the city nets you 1000 bits per battle. Fishing at Mod Cap or the city (if you've upgraded to more fishing holes) is an easy way to get some extra money. Fighting has the benefit of also giving you additional digivolution info at times and tamer exp. Gathering materials is also worth your time and it also gives tamer exp so maybe do a mix of all 3.

Etemon: Opens a Stock Market
Gargomon: Joins the Item Shop
GrapLeomon: Opens the Digivolution Dojo. This'll give you extra information on the requirements for your next digivolution. As you upgrade the Dojo you'll also be able to block off certain digivolutions to ensure you'll get the specific one you want.
Agumon: Does nothing
