In March 2022 I was asked if I would be interested acting as a potential substitute bassist for MONUMENTS in case of a Covid emergency. It so happened to be, that out of all shows, this would be the case at Hellfest on June 19th 2022.

Originally these videos were intended as a way to show the band where I was at with the songs, so they could correct mistakes before a first show with me, without any rehearsals. Even though some of these parts aren't 100% correct, I still felt some of you might enjoy watching these videos nonetheless. I've been shooting these 15 videos over the course of 3 months, so they've been sitting around for a while now. I'll be uploading another playthrough every two weeks. Hope you guys will enjoy them!

All the slapped stuff Swanny does during this song adds so much funky goodness to the groove of this song. Such a pleasure to try and emulate that style. The ending of this one threw me for a loop when first learning it. The ''same but different'' feel of that section makes it feel so fresh, you gotta love it.
