It's time to make a fresh demo vid on how to make your own succulent and cactus soil so here we go! The base ingredients are top soil, Turface, expanded shale, and pumice. I also answer some viewer questions at the end of the video so be sure to watch to the end. I did forget to mention to smell the shale too since sometimes it has petroleum still in it, but the brand Soil Mender is odorless. About the materials used: I have links and store locators on my webpage at https://sucsforyou.com/supplies/ - Please check out the photo of the different sizes of Turface I referred to there. I use the MVP because that's all my local shop supplies but the MLB would work as well. It's also sold as 'porous ceramic soil conditioner' under the brand Profile and others.
