2022 Double Duty Classic

Players honoring the East-West All-Star Game competed in the 2022 Double Duty Classic held at Guaranteed Rate Field on July 14, 2022. The Double Duty Classic, named after Negro League standout Ted "Double Duty" Radcliffe, is a celebration of the best inner-city high school players in the country.

Since its inaugural year in 2007, the DDC has served as a way to remember the history and tradition of Negro League Baseball in Chicago. It also has presented top prospects for the next generation the opportunity to shine in front of coaches, scouts and their community while also remembering the Negro Leaguers who made these opportunities available.

The Chicago White Sox are committed to changing the game, whether that is through on the field with a single play or off the field with our continued community involvement. With legends including Frank Thomas, Paul Konerko, Carlton Fisk, Harold Baines and Minnie Miñoso, to new stars including Luis Robert, Liam Hendriks, Tim Anderson, Yoán Moncada, Lucas Giolito and Leury García, the White Sox have represented our fans and city of Chicago since 1900, first at Comiskey Park and now at Guaranteed Rate Field, while also providing for the community by providing annual support of Chicago-based organizations through Chicago White Sox Charities. #ChangeTheGame #WhiteSox
