We successfully crossed Redear Sunfish with Bluegill at Beyond Seclusion. This is from the very first batch and they have grown WELL. This fish is about 3 years old. The reason was to try to get the best of both. Redear eat snails (which carry parasites, and reproduce slowly, but hard to catch) and Bluegill are easy to catch. Time will tell how they do and how big they get.
