Soon after Altroz's launch last year, Tata Motors revealed that it was working on adding a turbocharged engine to the premium hatchback's line-up. And after a delay of almost one year, the Indian carmaker launched the turbocharged variant of Altroz. Christened Altroz iTurbo, this hot-hatch starts from ₹7.74 lakh (ex-showroom). It is powered by Nexon's turbocharged engine which has been altered to develop less power. The fly in the ointment is that Altroz turbo doesn't get the option of an automatic gearbox.
