This webinar is brought to you as a part of the India Research Management Initiative (IRMI).

Drawing on the diverse perspectives of three European Research Managers, this session explores capacity building within grants offices of universities and research institutions. Eva Björndal (King's College London, UK) introduced different options and models to consider in the creation of a grants office. Following that, Daniela Amadio (King's College London, UK) delved into pre-award services. She also explored career paths in pre-award and shared how she worked towards developing and restructuring a grants office. Taking the same approach, Stephanie Fogel (University of Vienna, Austria) concluded the presentation by elaborating on post-award services and what institutions could consider in their post-award offer. She also talked about career paths in post-award and shared how she developed post-award services in a grants office, including the importance of benchmarking.

The Webinar catered to leadership at institutions, researchers, research managers and administrators, and individuals interested in pursuing or developing research management careers.
