If you've ever purchased a 25 pound sack of rice from an Asian market, you've probably spent a minute to two staring at the string that seals it shut. Most people will take a box cutter or pair of scissors to open up the sack, but there's a way to open it without tools. Over the years, I've tried to open up the rice without tools, and 99 times out of 100 I've failed, reaching for the scissors in defeat. Once in a blue moon I'll get it, and the sack will open with a single pull of the string. Like magic. I've even searched YouTube for the secret but to no avail.
